This is for the people that tell the world “I’m okay” when their own world is crashing down on them. For those that keep losing, that feel as if life hates them. For those who give up their own happiness to help others. For those having a bad day, a bad break-up. For those who are abused, traumatized, scared. This is for those that have thought about ending their life prematurely. Razors to their wrists, pills down their throats, and nooses around their necks. This is for those that can’t be strong any longer, for my people that have lost all hope.
It gets better, I promise. Happiness will shine down on you, if you only remember to turn on the light.
Not to put a dampener on this because the words are lovely. But how the hell does a picture of someone lying in the sunlight have any relation to feeling like that? People aren’t going to see this and think ‘oh, I’m going to be fine’. It doesn’t happen that way.
I really hate when people misunderstand mental illness and belittle it like this.
Words cannot describe this picture… makes me tear up every time I see it
to PVT Polion… hooah
to 1LT Watts… oorahbe there soon enough bros.
These are what our soldiers are going through. And anymore, it seems like more people are against them then for them….It breaks my heart to know that these men are laying down their life for some people that don’t even care..
If you don’t want to behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.
